Acceptance

By accessing or using ColorUtil, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use ColorUtil on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Eligibility

ColorUtil is not directed to children under 13. You may use the service only if you can form a binding agreement and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable law.

Accounts

  • You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account.
  • You must provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Google sign-in may be used to authenticate your account. ColorUtil does not collect or store your Google password.
  • You must not share access in a way that compromises the security or integrity of the service.

Permitted Use

You may use ColorUtil to create, inspect, edit, extract, save, and sync color palettes for lawful personal or business purposes. You agree not to misuse the service or interfere with its normal operation.

  • Do not attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, or security controls.
  • Do not upload, create, store, or share unlawful, infringing, abusive, or harmful content.
  • Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or disrupt the service except where allowed by law.
  • Do not use the service to violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.

Your Content

You keep ownership of palette names, descriptions, color values, and other content you create or save in ColorUtil. You grant ColorUtil a limited license to host, store, process, display, sync, and otherwise use that content only as needed to provide and maintain the service.

You are responsible for the content you submit and for making sure you have the rights needed to use it. ColorUtil may remove content or restrict access if it appears to violate these Terms or applicable law.

Community Standards

Do not create, save, submit, or share content that is vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, deceptive, infringing, illegal, malicious, or otherwise harmful. ColorUtil may remove content or restrict access to accounts that violate these standards.

Image Color Extraction

ColorUtil may let you load images in your browser to extract colors. You are responsible for choosing images you have the right to use. Current image color extraction is intended to run locally in your browser, but you should not use the feature with sensitive images unless you are comfortable processing them in the application.

ColorUtil Materials

ColorUtil, including its interface, code, branding, design, documentation, and related materials, is owned by the site operator or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of ColorUtil materials to you. You may use the service only as permitted by these Terms.

Third-Party Services

ColorUtil may depend on third-party services such as hosting, database providers, authentication providers, Google sign-in, analytics if configured, and other operational tools. Third-party services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Service Changes

ColorUtil may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, outages, updates, security issues, or events outside the operator's control.

Disclaimers

ColorUtil is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site operator disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

Color values, conversions, palette suggestions, and extracted colors are provided as design tools and may not be perfectly accurate for every device, color profile, display, print workflow, or professional production environment.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, or service interruption arising from or related to your use of ColorUtil.

Suspension And Termination

The site operator may suspend or terminate access to ColorUtil if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, or if continued access would be unlawful or harmful. You may stop using ColorUtil at any time.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the site operator, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. A production deployment should replace this sentence with the correct governing law, venue, and dispute-resolution language for the operator.

Changes To These Terms

ColorUtil may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date will show when the Terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

Contact

For questions about these Terms, contact the ColorUtil site operator. A production deployment should replace this sentence with the correct legal business name, mailing address, support email address, and any required notice method.
